Jag träffade en nobelprisvinnare i dag. Paul Krugman gästade Foreign Press Center och jag passade förstår på att gå dit eftersom jag håller på med ett reportage där jag tänkte att han ska få redogöra för sin syn på Obamas första tid som president.
Hur som helst. Samma dag, det vill säga i dag, måndag, publicerade Krugman en intressant kolumn i New York Times under rubriken "Tea Parties Forever". Det roliga med denna spalt är att den delvis handlar om det som jag skrev om här på bloggen i går - det vill säga om de halvgalna Obamahatarna på högerkanten. Kul att ligga en dag före en nobelvinnare i ekonomi.
"Republicans have become embarrassing to watch. And it doesn’t feel right to make fun of crazy people. Better, perhaps, to focus on the real policy debates, which are all among Democrats", skriver Krugman bland annat.
